True Blood Fanatic ?

I'm actually going to take a quick break from fashion to talk to you about one of my top favorite shows right now -True Blood . And  I have a couple of reasons as to why i'm talking about this . The first is that I started reading the True Blood books a few years before it became a television show and i have to be honest , I wasn't impressed . I couldn't even bring myself to finish the complete series and I actually still have an unread book on my dresser that has been there for months . I did however , read enough to notice a big change in the show . I do know that more times than none , a book-to-television-show will change a few things , but I wanted to know why this change occurred . The big change that i'm referring to is in the very first book we are introduced to a character by the name of Bubba . He is a vampire Elvis Presley that is under the care of Bill Compton . Well , in the show Bubba is replaced by a vampire named Jessica Hamby .  She was used to showcase in detail what a newborn vampire is like, cast to star as a love interest for Hoyt and be something of a daughter figure to Bill and Sookie. She seems to be the replacement for Bubba since his character is not allowed due to legal issues with the Presley estate. I have to say , she is so beautiful ! I love this girl and I simply cannot get enough of her ! But I do have a bad feeling that she's going to be killed off and I really hope that doesn't happen ! What do you guys think of the show ?
